WordCampMilwaukee is coming back on June 8-9 and I’m excited to be one of the speakers this year.
Since spring has finally arrived in Wisconsin, I decided it was a perfect time to talk about doing some Spring Cleaning for Your WordPress Site. I’m going to give some easy to implement ideas with and without code.
If you have an interest in WordPress, WordCamp is a great place to learn alot of new information and meet other people involved in the WordPress community. I even have a coupon code to share with you that’ll save you $5 off the $25 weekend registration.

Hi – and look forward to seeing you at the conference! I just read your MN wordcamp experience too – and I think I share some of the same sentiments. What’s interesting is the vibe that WordCamp gives off vs the traditional conferences. In my opinion, when I go to a ‘conference’ I want everything to be polished and smooth: a great place to learn lots, network, and feel like I got my money. For me, the WordCamp experience is a bit more relaxed (its obviously cheaper too!), but I like the mix in things I go to. I feel like the relaxed vibe allows for more conversations, and less trying to milk everything I can out of the sessions – more focus on the people.
For over 15 years, I've worked in the online marketing industry pursuing the goal of helping businesses get found on the internet. I'm passionate about creating exceptional websites to create a foundation which builds a company's credibility online. I believe a website should be as functional as it is beautiful. I work with businesses to create online marketing strategies that convert website visitors into paying customers. Our customers enjoy working with my down-to-earth style and are happy to learn that I speak their language without all the tech jargon. Outside the office I'm a single mom to five children and a growing family of cats! Time with my children is the highlight of my days but I also enjoy riding my motorcycle, daydreaming on Pinterest about renovating my 100+ year old farmhouse, and of course cuddling with with the kitties. Say hi and start a conversation with me on Twitter @NerdFreeMrktng or follow her on LinkedIn.
